At Cairns Flexi Tours we believe ‘Girls just want to have fun,’ and have designed tours with fun and friendship in mind. We also believe that the journey is as important as the destination so passengers are invited to join in with a bus singalong and a fun trivia quiz. The tours will be themed and prizes awarded for ‘best dressed’ and ‘best on the bus’.

With a maximum of 10 guests, there is ample opportunity to mingle and get to know other local women or spend quality time with your tribe.

Girls Day Out tours are perfect for:

Those who are new to the area and would like to meet new people and see some of our amazing attractions.
Friendship groups who would like to enjoy the day together sightseeing, shopping and wine tasting, without the stress of driving.

Tablelands Shopping, Sightseeing and Wine tasting

• Depart Cairns at 8am
• Enjoy morning tea at Shaylee Strawberry Farm
• Free time in Yungaburra to explore the Markets and eclectic array of shops that make up this pretty village.
• Visit the 'must see' Curtain Fig tree - a true natural wonder
• Relax and admire the view from the Lake Barrine Teahouse as you enjoy a scrumptious lunch
• Marvel at the beauty of the landscape on the way to Milla Milla Falls
• Milla Milla Falls, a photographer's paradise or for the adventurous, a refreshing dip in the mountain stream
• Sample cheese and chocolates and indulge in a glass or 2 of bubbly at Gallos
• Visit a mystery winery for a free wine tasting - never judge a book by its cover
• Return to Cairns around 5.30pm

Passengers must be over the age of 18.
While having fun is the aim of the day, unruly passengers will be asked to leave the tour.

Atherton Tablelands Wine and Liquor Tasting Tour

Join us for a fun day of indulgence, sampling the best alcohol, fresh fruit, cheeses and chocolates the Tablelands has to offer.

Depart Cairns at 8.30am
Morning tea
Visit the rustic Wild River Distillery at Wondecla and enjoy spirits and liquors!
Indulge your senses with a delicious lunch at the lovely Lake Barrine Tea House
Enjoy a cold refreshment at Billycart Brewery
Try Mt Uncle Distillery award winning liquors and spirits
Sample a tropical fruit and local produce platter at the ‘humpy’
Taste the tropics in the fruit wines at the Mango Drop Winery
Visit a mystery winery – Never judge a book by its cover!

Arrive back in Cairns around 5.30pm

Passengers must be over the age of 18.
Unruly passengers will be asked to leave the tour.

A typical “Girls Day Out” is as follows:
Our inaugural Christmas tour was an hilarious social day with something for everyone.

Starting in Cairns we headed to the Mareeba markets for some retail therapy, we then cooled off with a refreshing swim in Lake Eacham followed by a picnic lunch.

After several cleansing ales and homemade Christmas treats, we headed to Atherton Christmas Tree Farm where revellers picked up some beautiful Christmas trinkets, posed for some photos with Santa and had a delicious cup of hot chocolate whilst admiring the extensive views of the Tablelands.

The fun and laughter continued as we made our way to a mystery destination for an unforgettable wine tasting experience. The bus trip home was equally as memorable as passengers eagerly joined in with 70’s and 80’s music bus Karaoke complete with flashing disco lights. The tribe were reluctant to hop off the bus and all vowed to make this an annual “Girls’ Day Out”.

Whilst fun and friendship is paramount on these trips, the driver reserves the right to request unruly passengers leave the door.
